DotA Survivor - 11: Famous eh?

Rickster pivoted on his heel, hefting his spear to block the incoming attack from Terrorblaze. He wasn’t even sure if it was the real Soul Keeper. Several Soul Keepers and Phantom Lancers fought on the battlefield, each seemingly evenly matched. Too busy to look for the real one, he instead had to focus on staying alive. Slowly he started to notice his images were starting to fade, and was forced to reveal himself for a split second by activating his manta style, creating even more images.

It was all the time marshmallowcrew needed to cast his amplify damage on the right target. Rickster seemed surprised when despite his split, all the images of Terrorblaze rounded on him and attacked him. He dopplewalked, to no avail as he continued to take heavy blows. Just as he was about to land the final blow however, Terrorblaze was ksed by the Slithereen Guard blinking in with his purchased blink dagger and crushing the Phantom Lancer to death. Terrorblaze was furious, but marshmallowcrew took no notice, as he cast amplify damage on the real Soul Keeper and began to attack. He had been watching the entire battle and knew who was who despite their trickery. Terrorblaze metamorphosed into his demonic form, and the battle raged. Terrorblaze dealt more damage with every attack, but with the amplify damage resting on him and with his low HP, he did not stand a chance.

Marshmallowcrew was expecting the sunder, but when it hit it was still an incredible shock. Panicking for a second, he quickly managed to retain his calm, and slammed the ground again, stunning the Soul Keeper. Terrorblaze had not gained much life back from his sunder, and slowly began to accept his fate against one of the most powerful one versus one fighters in DotA. He did not have the mana to do anything and had no way to escape.

Aid came swiftly and efficiently in the form of Mafaga. Cursing his luck, the Slithereen Guard quickly performed one last stomp as the Anti Mage blinked in and attacked. He desperately sought to land the final blow on Terrorblaze, but it was too late, as the Anti Mages mana void consumed his body, vaporizing it into fine ash.

“You owe me one Terrorblaze.” Mafaga said casually as the Soul Keeper, kept up from the ground only by his bloodied palms breathed heavily.
“And you’re late Manfag.” Terrorblaze said angrily. “It should not have been that close!”
“Woah, woah, woah, take it easy. It’s cool.” The Anti Mage replied. “Its okay, it’s true I did take a while. I’ll make it up for you by escorting you back to the scourge boundaries. I made some nice gold from that kill. We’re making progress here.”
“Okay Mafaga, but next time…” Terrorblaze raised a clawed finger menacingly. Mafaga simply nodded, and helped to hoist his ally up onto his shoulder. They slowly made their way towards the scourge base in an ultimately uneventful journey.
